Donald Trump has been implicated in the death of Jeffrey Epstein by the financier’s brother, Mark Epstein.
The death of Epstein, a convicted sex offender, has been a topic of speculation since it occurred on August 10, 2019. Epstein died by suicide in prison while awaiting trial for sex trafficking. However, many theorists suggest he was murdered to protect powerful individuals he supposedly had incriminating information on.
Mark Epstein has linked President Trump to his brother’s death, as suggested in an email uncovered in a recent release of Epstein-related documents.
According to this information, on February 22, 2023, Mark submitted an online tip to the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center, alleging Trump’s involvement in Jeffrey Epstein’s death at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York.

“Jeffrey Epstein was murdered in his jail cell,” Mark wrote. “I have reason to believe he was killed because he was about to name names. I believe Presient [sic] Trump authorized is [sic] murder.”
Mark reportedly directed his tip to a Threat Intake Examiner at the FBI NTOC, including his contact details and IP address, which were redacted in the records.
Mark told The Independent that he received no follow-up on his claim at the time.
After these claims surfaced, a White House spokesperson directed the outlet to a DOJ press release, stating: “This production may include fake or falsely submitted images, documents or videos, as everything that was sent to the FBI by the public was included in the production that is responsive to the Act.
“Some of the documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election. To be clear, the claims are unfounded and false, and if they have a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.”
Last month, Mark expressed his views on his brother’s death to NewsNation: “Jeffrey was murdered, and more autopsy facts will be coming out in February that prove it.

“There are only three ways to die in prison. Suicide, natural causes or murder. And Jeff was murdered. I want to know who killed him and on whose behalf?”
In a BBC Newsnight interview, Mark claimed his brother had compromising information on Trump, with their relationship allegedly ending in the early 2000s.
During the same interview, Mark referenced the 2016 presidential election, saying: “In the 2016 election … Jeffrey told me that if he said what he knew about the candidates they’d have to cancel the election.”
Trump once referred to Epstein as a ‘terrific guy’ in a 2002 New York Magazine interview, noting their shared taste in beautiful women, though Epstein preferred them ‘younger’.
Trump has stated that their friendship ended 15 years before Epstein’s conviction. Mark responded to this in a conversation with NewsNation, saying, “You could see in the emails; Trump could deny it all he wants, but it’s pretty clear everything Trump says is a lie.”
It’s important to understand that inclusion in the files does not suggest any criminal activity or awareness of Epstein’s criminal behavior.
