Eminem announces Hailie’s pregnancy and his upcoming role as a grandfather

Eminem has announced that his daughter, Hailie Jade, is expecting a child, which means he will soon become a grandfather.

Recently, in May, Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers II, started releasing tracks from his new album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).” Songs such as ‘Houdini’ and ‘Tobey’ have already captivated audiences, but the release of the music video for ‘Temporary’ has particularly astonished fans for various reasons.

Fans were moved to tears when they realized the song ‘Temporary’ is dedicated to Hailie Jade, intended as a heartfelt message for her to cherish after Eminem’s passing.

Eminem introduces ‘Temporary’ with: “A lot of people ask me, am I afraid of death?

“The truth is, I think what scares me the most is not being able to say all the things I wanna say to you when I’m no longer here.

“So, this song is for Hailie, for when that day comes.”

The track features Eminem comforting his daughter about his eventual passing. It also includes audio clips from when Hailie was a toddler.

Furthermore, the music video has an emotional twist.

Eminem didn’t stop with just the touching song. The video also reveals that Hailie is pregnant, meaning Eminem is about to become a grandfather.

Earlier this year in May, Hailie tied the knot with Evan McClintock, and scenes from their wedding are featured in the ‘Temporary’ music video.

The video progresses to a moment where Hailie appears outside, joining her father with a blue jersey in hand. She sits beside Eminem, handing him the jersey.

The jersey unfurls to reveal it says: “GRANDPA 1.”

Additionally, another scene shows Hailie presenting Eminem with an ultrasound scan photo.

Including clips of Hailie as a baby and scenes of her and her father dancing at her wedding, the video is undeniably emotional.

Hailie has confessed that she can’t help but ‘audibly sob’ when listening to ‘Temporary’ and another track from her father’s album, ‘Somebody Save Me.’

She also mentioned on her podcast that ‘Mockingbird’ triggers the same reaction: “I can’t even listen to it anymore without crying. The older I get, the less I can listen to any of the songs.”
