Eminem has reignited his beef with Machine Gun Kelly after ending his rap career with Killshot

“Before you die let’s see who can out-petty who / With your corny lines (Slim you’re old) / Ow, Kelly, ooh, but I’m 45 and I’m still outselling you.”

Eminem didn’t pull any punches when he clapped back at Machine Gun Kelly with his fiery 2018 track ‘Killshot’. For many fans, this track seemed like the knockout punch in their ongoing battle.

Fast forward to five years later, Eminem just unleashed a new album, and guess what? It looks like he’s not done with MGK just yet.

The Death of Slim Shady is Eminem

His latest drop, ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)’, landed today (12 July) and it’s already causing waves. Eminem teased us earlier with singles like ‘Houdini’ and ‘Tobey’ before dropping the full album.

The album, teased with an eerie gravestone image, delves into Eminem’s infamous Slim Shady persona, revisiting past controversies before hinting at putting Slim Shady to rest.

However, Eminem isn’t all about letting bygones be bygones.

In ‘Bad One’, Eminem throws shade at MGK once more: “But I gotta keep going Tyson on Kelly / I bodied him twice and already / That little motherf***er’s back throwing subs like a food fight at the deli.”

This track has officially thrown fuel on the flames of their feud, and fans are here for it.

Over on Reddit, the song ‘Bad One’ sparked quite the conversation. One user chimed in, “Mgk gettin buried again is hilarious [sic].”

Another added, “That Mgk diss was slick on “Bad One” I can’t even lie. Eminem will never stop beating on him.”

Many fans also applauded the track in general, with one calling it ‘fire’.

The release of ‘Bad One’ marks over a decade of ongoing tensions between Kelly and Eminem.

Machine Gun Kelly hit back with his track

It all seemingly started in 2012 when Kelly tweeted about Eminem’s daughter, Hailie Jade, calling her ‘hot’. It’s important to note she was only 16 at the time.

Although Eminem later refuted that the tweet was the origin of their beef, citing professional grievances instead, the tension simmered.

Em made his feelings clear in his track ‘Not Alike’, directly addressing Kelly: “I’m talkin’ to you, but you already know who the f**k you are, Kelly…I don’t use sublime and sure as f**k don’t sneak-diss…But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie.”

Kelly responded with ‘Rap Devil’, turning Eminem’s ‘Rap God’ on its head, marking another chapter in their storied rivalry.
