The brother of convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein has shed light on the identity of ‘Bubba’.
Recently, a collection of emails from the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, spanning from 2011 to 2019, was unveiled by lawmakers on the House Oversight and Reform Committee.
Among these emails is a particular exchange between the convicted sex offender and his brother, Mark Epstein, where a person referred to as ‘Bubba’ is mentioned. The message boldly claims that US President Donald Trump was ‘blowing Bubba’.
The 2018 email, in which the Epstein brothers discussed whether Vladimir Putin had knowledge of an alleged image showing ‘Trump blowing Bubba’, has quickly circulated across social media for a specific reason.
‘Bubba’ is a nickname commonly associated with former US president Bill Clinton, who has also been photographed with the late Epstein.
This has fueled speculation online about whether ‘Bubba’ indeed refers to Bill Clinton and the implications of such a reference.

Mark Epstein has since spoken to The Advocate in a story published on 16 November, aiming to clarify who ‘Bubba’ might be.
During the interview, Mark emphatically stated that ‘Bubba’ does not refer to former President Bill Clinton.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the reference to ‘Bubba’ in this correspondence is not, in any way, a reference to former President Bill Clinton,” he confirmed.
So, who exactly is ‘Bubba’?
The answer remains unclear, as Ali Clark, a spokesperson for Mark, informed The Advocate that ‘Bubba’ is ‘a private individual who is not a public figure’.
Mark further explained that the interpretations drawn from the email exchange were a misreading, stating: “They were simply part of a humorous private exchange between two brothers and were never meant for public release or to be interpreted as serious remarks.”
This is not the first instance where Trump’s name appears in the emails, as Epstein jested about his failed ventures, mentioned the president ‘knew about the girls’, and noted that Trump spent hours at Epstein’s home with an unidentified guest.

Reacting to the emails, White House deputy press secretary Abigail Jackson issued a statement to PEOPLE: “Those emails prove literally nothing. Democrats and the mainstream media are desperately trying to use this hoax as a distraction to talk about anything other than the President’s many wins, including the Democrats getting utterly defeated by President Trump in the shutdown fight.
“We won’t be distracted, and the entire Administration will continue fulfilling the promises the President was elected on, including cutting the Biden-era price hikes.”
Donald Trump also addressed the situation directly on his social media platform Truth Social on 14 November, describing the emails as a ‘hoax’.
The president wrote: “Now that the Democrats are using the Epstein Hoax, involving Democrats, not Republicans, to try and deflect from their disastrous SHUTDOWN, and all of their other failures.
“I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him.”
