Erika Kirk Shares Holiday Message Featuring Husband Charlie’s Words, Ignites Debate

Erika Kirk has encountered criticism after posting a short Christmas message to her audience.

Although many of Erika’s supporters have expressed appreciation for her message, some have taken issue with it for a particular reason.

The video has quickly gained traction on social media after being highlighted by Fox News.

Erika Kirk has gained national attention following the assassination of her well-known conservative husband, Charlie Kirk, in September.

In the wake of this event, Erika Kirk has assumed the role of CEO at Turning Point USA, an organization her husband helped establish.

In her new role, Erika has appeared on stage and collaborated with several conservative figures, including Donald Trump and JD Vance.

In her holiday message, Erika stated: “This holiday season my prayer for you is to just honestly rest. That would be my husband’s message as well.

“There is a lot of noise out there. Holiday season can be really crazy, but I just pray that you find some alone time with the Lord and your family.

“Love on your babies, love on your family members, life is short.”

Erika delivered her message while standing in front of a Christmas tree, holding her husband’s posthumous work, a book titled Stop in the Name of God.

The display of the book caused some social media users to feel it was inappropriate for such a personal message.

One user commented: “I know when I grieve, I always feel better when I go on a massive publicity tour selling books, t-shirts, and supplements.”

Another stated: “Using Christmas and her dead husband’s name to make money is blasphemy.”

A third critic remarked: “Yeah people should stop going on tours and spend time with their family. People who lost loved ones should take time to grieve and not be out engaging in media campaigns.”

Additionally, someone else wrote: “I loved Charlie, I don’t love this – the harder they push this – the more it pushes intuitive people away from it.”

Conversely, some individuals disregarded these criticisms and stood in support of Erika.

One supporter wrote: “Erika Kirk reminding everyone to love family this holiday after losing Charlie proves life ends fast for anyone.”

Another person commented: “Young leaders gone too soon expose how fragile power and plans really are. Cherish yours now.”

And another added: “Cherishing those moments with loved ones makes every holiday meaningful.”
