Ex-wife of ex-NFL player petitions judge following lawsuit over ‘intrusive’ remarks on manhood size

Haley Kalil, the former spouse of NFL player Matt Kalil, has approached the court with a request following a lawsuit filed by Matt. He sued her over alleged remarks she made concerning his anatomy, describing it as ‘like two Coke cans on top of each other’.

After their separation in 2022, Haley reportedly referred to Matt’s physical attributes during a livestream with Marlon Garcia, implying that this was a significant factor in their breakup.

“I was going to try it all. We tried it all: therapist, doctors. Not even lying… Looked up lipo-type s**t…,” she stated.

“That’s why it’s kinda funny. It’s like my life is a comedy, and it kinda writes itself. That was the biggest factor… Love him, but he’s my homie. We’ve tried, impossible unless you’re going to be in tears type s**t.”

Following these comments, Matt took legal action against Haley, alleging that her statements led to ‘unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public’.

In response, Haley has submitted a request to dismiss the lawsuit.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Haley argues that Matt selectively quoted her comments and stands by her statements regarding their separation.

Haley asserts that Matt had a ‘specific anatomical incompatibility that rendered a normal sexual relationship impossible’, noting they shared a ‘loving union that was ultimately hindered by an unfortunate physical incompatibility’.

The request further accuses Matt of attempting to penalize her for sharing an honest, personal account of the sexual challenges that contributed to their high-profile split.

In reaction to Haley’s dismissal request, Matt’s representatives told TMZ Sports: “Haley Kalil’s motion to dismiss does not dispute the fact that she wantonly disclosed private and intimate details about Matt Kalil that resulted in widespread ridicule and unwanted attention.”

Ryan Saba of Rosen Saba LLP emphasized that a ‘spouse does not have a right to expose private and confidential marital and sexual details for the purpose of profiting’.

“We expect that the motion will be completely denied,” Saba commented.

Haley’s attorney, Matthew Bialick, responded with his own statement to TMZ Sports, asserting: “We moved to dismiss the complaint because Minnesota has a longstanding commitment to free speech, which is important now more than ever. Allowing a lawsuit to proceed against a woman for sharing a truthful, autobiographical account of sexual trauma would directly undermine those core values.

“We believe the motion will be granted.”
