Experts discuss the reasons behind Donatella Versace’s striking transformation, leaving fans in disbelief

Experts have shed light on Donatella Versace’s seemingly new appearance.

Donatella was among many celebrities attending the opening night of The Devil Wears Prada musical in London on Sunday (December 1).

The event boasted appearances from several well-known personalities, including Lily Collins, Luke Evans, Anna Wintour, Elton John, and Elizabeth Hurley.

Though the musicals were expected to be the highlight of the evening, it was Donatella who captured the audience’s attention.

The famed Italian designer appeared to reveal a new look, drawing compliments across social media for her 69-year-old transformation.

Donatella posted photos from her night out on Instagram, which prompted an outpouring of admiration from her followers.

Fans described her as ‘incredible’, ‘stunning’, and ‘perfect’. One comment read: “The hair color is perfection!”

Another follower added: “Donatella you look AMAZING!”

Someone else remarked: “What an amazing transformation, Donatella looks gorgeous!”

While specifics remain uncertain regarding changes to the fashion icon’s appearance, some experts suggest she may have undergone ‘corrective work’, considering her history with cosmetic enhancements.

Dr. Ross Perry, founder and Medical Director of Cosmedics Skin Clinics, discussed her appearance with Mail Online, stating: “This is the best I’ve seen Donatella looking- the hair, make-up and styling really work and suit Donatella.

“She doesn’t look like she’s been having a lot of recent work done, but is maintaining and possibly correcting previous work.”

He further speculated: “This could be having more non-invasive skin treatments, filler removed and opting for less surgical procedures that she’s had done in the past.”

Additionally, Dr. Perry indicated that Donatella may have started using fillers in 1993 when she was 38 years old.

Reports suggest she had eyelid surgery and a lower face lift in 2008, followed by fillers and a potential nose job two years later.

Donatella has been relatively candid about her cosmetic procedures over the years.

In a 2013 interview with Vogue, she stated: “I’m not like this genetically.”

She revealed she had used Botox on her face, but not on her body.

In a 2010 interview, Donatella expressed skepticism about a ‘totally natural’ look for women.

“I don’t even know what my natural color is. Natural? What is natural? What is that?” she said then. “I do not believe in totally natural for women. For me, natural has something to do with vegetables.”
