Eyewitness discloses what UK train assailant shouted to police following mass stabbing

A witness has recounted the terrifying words yelled by the UK train knife attacker as police subdued him.

On November 1st, a frightening situation unfolded on a train traveling from Doncaster to London, prompting police intervention.

Following a 999 call reporting a chaotic knife assault, an armed response team was dispatched and reached the train within eight minutes. The train made an unplanned stop at Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire soon after.

The attack left 11 individuals injured, with two remaining in serious condition, including a train staff member who attempted to stop the assailant.

Upon arrival, police used a taser to bring the suspect under control and arrested two men in their 30s, aged 35 and 32.

Authorities later clarified that the 35-year-old was released after determining he wasn’t part of the incident.

Anthony Williams, a 32-year-old Black British national from Peterborough, has been charged with multiple crimes including 10 counts of attempted murder, one count of actual bodily harm, and possession of a bladed article.

A taxi driver, who witnessed Williams being subdued by police, captured the moment on video and reported that Williams repeatedly urged the police to kill him.

The taxi driver shared with The Sun: “I had arrived at the station pick up point at 7.41 pm and was waiting for a passenger.

“As soon as I see the passenger a few minutes later I then see everybody running out of the station.

“Then 10 seconds later a man dressed in black holding a huge kitchen knife in his hand runs past my car at 7.47 pm. The police arrive seconds later and I could hear him shouting ‘kill me, kill me, kill me’ to them.

“They then taser him and as soon as he is down they say to him ‘drop your weapon’, that’s when I started recording.

“I didn’t understand the gravity until after I left the area and saw the huge police presence. I was shocked and then I knew it was bad.”

Counter-terrorism officials were initially brought in to determine the nature of this ‘major incident’, but police now suggest it was an ‘isolated attack’.
