A witness who observed a mass stabbing on a train in the UK has shared his account of the event.
The incident occurred around 7.40pm UK time on a train traveling from Doncaster to London on Saturday, November 1. Police received reports of multiple stabbings.
The London North Eastern Railway (LNER) service was met by armed police, paramedics, air ambulances, and transport police at Huntingdon station. Two individuals were detained, one reportedly carrying a large knife and was subdued with a Taser by authorities.
Ten people sustained stab wounds and were taken to the hospital. Initially, it was reported that nine individuals were in life-threatening conditions.
Providing an update on Sunday, November 2, Superintendent John Loveless informed the public that four victims had been discharged, although two individuals remained in critical condition.

A passenger named Gavin recounted to Sky News hearing someone shout, “They’ve got a knife. I’ve been stabbed,” on the LNER train.
As the train halted at Huntingdon station, Gavin described police commands to “get down, get down!”
“The armed police were pointing to the suspect as we came off the train,” Gavin said. “He [the suspect] was waving quite a large knife. They detained him. I think it was a Taser that got him down in the end.
“They [passengers] were making their way through the carriage to get away from the suspects. They were extremely bloodied.”
Gavin further explained the condition of one passenger: “That person ended up collapsing on the floor. They were taken to an ambulance pretty much straight away.”

On Sunday, Loveless addressed the press outside Huntingdon station, stating that armed officers had apprehended two suspects on suspicion of attempted murder within eight minutes of receiving 999 calls.
The men in custody are a 32-year-old black British male and a 35-year-old British national of Caribbean descent.
Loveless stated: “At this stage, there is nothing to suggest that this is a terrorist incident. At this stage, it would not be appropriate to speculate on the cause of this incident.”
British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer remarked on the ‘appalling incident’ as ‘deeply concerning’ following the news of the attack.
“My thoughts are with all those affected, and my thanks go to the emergency services for their response,” the PM said in a statement on X, formerly Twitter.
