Morgan Wallen has often made headlines for controversy, and now an incident involving someone in the crowd at one of his concerts has sparked outrage after a child was allegedly urinated on during the show.
The alleged incident happened on July 18 during Wallen’s two-night stop at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, part of his Still the Problem Tour 2026, which featured support from Brooks & Dunn, Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, and Jason Scott & The High Heat.
The family had traveled to Baltimore for the concert and allege that another attendee in the audience urinated on them.
In a Facebook post, Troy Grevelding said he was at the concert with his wife, brother, and daughters, including his eight-year-old niece, when they suddenly felt what he described as
‘urine’
splash onto their legs.
He also alleged, according to The Mirror, that when he turned around, the man behind them appeared to have exposed himself.
Troy further claimed that when the incident was reported to law enforcement at the stadium, they
‘don’t give a s***t about anything’
.
TMZ reported that a spokesperson for Maryland Transportation Authority Police said officers were
‘aware of this incident and the video that is on social media’
and confirmed that
‘there is an active and open criminal investigation into this matter’
.
According to reports, the video of the confrontation spread quickly online after the show, drawing a broader reaction from fans and prompting questions about how the incident was handled at the stadium.
Speaking later to People, Troy said he believed the alleged act may have been deliberate, claiming there had already been a couple of interactions with the same man earlier that day.
According to Troy, the other attendee appeared to be intoxicated and at one stage had gone back to the wrong seat.
Before the alleged urination, Troy said he had confronted the man for being too loud, though he added that the situation seemed to settle down and they even joked about photobombing each other’s pictures, remaining
‘civil’
until the incident.
“Well, a couple songs now into the Morgan Wallen set, my wife…well, I end up feeling something, I didn’t think nothing of it,” Troy told the outlet. “I thought it was just another guy behind me, you know what I mean? It was spilled beer, whatever.”
“And then my wife says to me, ‘Whatever that man’s doing, is all over my leg,’ ” he added. “And at that same time, I was kind of, like, standing on an angle, so I just kind of like, look over my right shoulder, and at that point, dude, his pants are completely down.”
Troy said he could not tell whether the man had been trying to urinate into
‘a bottle or a can.’
“And I don’t care what he was doing because I was getting peed all over, my wife was getting peed all over, [and] my 8-year-old niece was getting peed on,” he explained.
He later went live on Facebook during the aftermath of the alleged incident, saying police were unwilling to act because there were no witnesses.
Troy’s brother, Tim Grevelding, who was also there with his daughters aged eight and 11, described the incident to People as
‘just sickening’
and said the family then faced
‘1.5 hour ride back to where we were staying and we had pee-covered clothing.’
The claims surfaced a little over a month after Wallen drew attention on the same tour for knocking over his piano before finishing an encore performance a cappella at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium.
Video shared online appeared to suggest he was frustrated by issues hearing the instrument.
He stopped playing, finished the song without the piano, and then tipped it over.
That moment brought criticism, although he has not repeated it since.
