Fans Express Concern for Justin Bieber After Unusual Video of Him Smoking Surfaces

Justin Bieber recently stirred up concern among fans by posting an Instagram video where he is seen smoking while listening to music.

Earlier in the month, fans expressed worry over the pop star’s wellbeing. Photos of Bieber walking through New York City went viral, with many commenting on his appearance.

Concerns were raised about his health, with some speculating about possible drug use.

The rumors escalated to the point where Bieber’s representatives had to address them directly and refute the speculation.

In a conversation with TMZ, his representative stated, “The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true,” emphasizing that Bieber is currently ‘in one of the best places in his life’.

The representative further mentioned that Bieber is working on new music and is enjoying fatherhood with his son, Jack Blues, who he and Hailey Bieber welcomed in August 2024.

They also noted that Bieber has had a ‘very transformative’ year, distancing himself from certain friends and business partners that were no longer beneficial to him.

Despite these assurances, fans began commenting with support and concern after Bieber posted a video of himself smiling and smoking a cigar-like item on his Instagram story.

One fan commented: “He needs support & help. This is so sad & more reason why this industry needs overhauled & better supportive measures put in place for artists.”

Another added: “People filming themselves smoking always feels cringe af. especially when it’s Bieber doing it.”

A third wrote: “What happened to my sweet Bieber, I hope he’s doing fine.”

Bieber’s representatives have also spoken about the toll that these health rumors take on him.

The representatives described the rumors as ‘exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive’.

Bieber has previously dealt with health challenges, revealing in 2020 that he was diagnosed with Lyme disease.

In 2023, he had to cancel the remainder of his world tour due to Ramsay Hunt Syndrome (RHS), which he had been diagnosed with the previous year.
