Fans Go Wild as Kendrick Lamar Drops Drake Diss Track Live at Super Bowl Show

During the Super Bowl halftime show, Kendrick Lamar appeared to utilize his stage presence to take a jab at Drake.

The 37-year-old artist performed his track directed at Drake, causing quite a stir among fans.

“KENDRICK IS CURRENTLY PERFORMING NOT LIKE US,” an enthusiastic Twitter user exclaimed.

Another fan commented: “Crazy tease then proceeded to do it absolute masterclass.”

A third fan wrote: “WHEN HE SMILED AT THE CAM WHEN HE SAID DRAKE KILT ME.”

Drake is in the process of suing Universal Music Group, the parent company of both his and Kendrick’s record labels, over the song ‘Not Like Us,’ alleging it is defamatory.

The rivalry between the two artists has been ongoing, but tensions escalated last year when both released diss tracks aimed at each other.

Kendrick’s ‘Not Like Us’ was released on May 4, shortly after Drake’s track ‘Push Ups’ came out a few weeks earlier.

Kendrick’s song has outperformed Drake’s in streaming numbers, garnering over a billion plays on Spotify, whereas ‘Push Ups’ has accumulated around 170 million streams.

The lyrics of ‘Not Like Us’ state: “Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young/ You better not ever go to cell block one/To any b**** that talk to him and they in love/Just make sure you hide your lil’ sister from him/They tell me Chubbs the only one that get your hand-me-downs.”

“And Party at the party playin’ with his nose now/And Baka got a weird case, why is he around?/Certified Lover Boy? Certified p*dophiles/Wop, wop, wop, wop, wop, Dot, f*** ’em up/Wop, wop, wop, wop, wop, I’ma do my stuff.

“Why you trollin’ like a b****? Ain’t you tired?/Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A minor.”

During his halftime performance, Kendrick deliberately omitted the most provocative lyric from the song.

A Twitter user remarked: “They let him sing it, but they didn’t let him say the word, which is pretty funny lol.”

At halftime, the Kansas City Chiefs were trailing with a significant score of 24 to nil, favoring the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Chiefs are aiming for an unprecedented three-peat, a feat never before accomplished.

The only other time the Chiefs and Eagles clashed in the final was two years ago, when the Chiefs emerged victorious in a thrilling contest.

During that game, the Chiefs secured their win with a score of 38 to 35, scoring 17 points in the last quarter while the Eagles managed only eight.
