Fans Heartbroken After Liam Payne’s Girlfriend Shares Their Life-Altering Plans Before His Passing

Liam Payne’s partner, Kate Cassidy, has opened up about a touching letter the One Direction singer wrote to her, outlining his hopes for their lifelong union, before his untimely passing.

The 31-year-old tragically died earlier this month after falling from the third floor of the CasaSur hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Online tributes have been pouring in, including from Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, who took to Instagram recently to honor the singer.

Cassidy used her Instagram platform to share images of herself with Payne along with an emotional message.

She expressed: “I don’t even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in ways I can’t put into words. I wish you could see the huge impact you’ve had on the world, even as it feels so dark right now.

“You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone – millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me. You are so incredibly loved.

“You are – because I can’t say were – my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt just as special as I did. Your energy was contagious, lighting up every room you walked into.

“None of this feels real, and I can’t wrap my head around this new reality of not having you here. I’m struggling to figure out how to live in a world without you by my side.”

She reminisced about experiencing a childlike joy with Payne, always cherishing the little moments, and lauded him for having ‘the kindest soul and the most fun-loving spirit’. She feels she’s lost the best part of herself.

Cassidy also shared the letter Payne wrote regarding their future.

She recalls an evening spent outside weeks prior, discussing their future together, when Payne handed her a note she cherishes, despite him asking her not to read it immediately.

The note reportedly says: “Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444.”

In Cassidy’s post, the significance of 444 is elaborated as ‘the favorite number sequence of the angels’, which appears when ‘feeling alone’.

Cassidy concludes her post: “Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel.

“I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories with me everywhere I go.”

Supporters have quickly taken to social media to express their condolences to Cassidy, many heartbroken by the revelation of Payne’s future aspirations.

One Twitter user remarked: “Wait this is devastating my heart goes out to her.”

“My heart aches so bad for this woman, I really hope she is okay,” another commented, while a third added: “Manifesting she finds happiness again.”
