Time literally froze over on Instagram thanks to 74-year-old fashion icon Vera Wang.
When Vera Wang, the timeless fashion mogul, graced her Instagram followers with a swimsuit snapshot, it practically broke the internet.
Yesterday, she shared a stunning poolside photo that left her followers utterly speechless.
She teased the snap to her 900,000 followers with: “My SLIM AARONS moment.
“Happy Summer!!!”
The comments section overflowed with awe and applause, with one admirer proclaiming, “Time bows down to you and stops moving.”
Another bewildered fan asked, “HOW is it possible you look like this?
“I need to put down the slice of pizza immediately.”
This isn’t the first instance Vera’s age-defying appearance has stirred a frenzy on social media.
In a 2022 chat with BBC 100 Women, she reflected on the reactions to her youthful essence over the years.
And her secrets to maintaining such radiance might actually surprise you.
Highlighting the importance of rest and a nightly vodka cocktail, Vera shared some personal insights.
She recounted, “I’ve been in fashion since I was 19 years old.
“Not in front of the camera, behind it.
“I never thought about youth, probably because I work with the most beautiful women in the world on a daily basis.
“And because of that I more envision them as my muses, and maybe it’s a way of dealing with aging that is productive.
“So I always said that vodka cocktail, a lot of sleep, but work – work is the magic elixir.”
But when it comes to her diet, prepare to be even more stunned!
Chatting with Page Six, Vera admitted, “I do eat McDonald’s, absolutely, I order it every day, like two weeks on it, and then I’ll change.”
Looks like a fast-food diet can still be fashionable.
She also confessed her love for Dunkin’ Donuts, saying, “I like the cream-filled, sugar-coated donut.
“It’s like a jelly donut, but it’s cream inside, vanilla cream.
“I like the pink with sprinkles, too.”
Ultimately, Vera credits her consistent work ethic as the fountain of youth.
She explained, “I think work keeps you young and stimulated.
“I work very long hours, I’ve raised two daughters.
“I think keeping busy is the best antidote [for] good health.”
So, it seems the secret formula is simple: a splash of vodka, a dash of McDonald’s, and a sprinkle of donuts!
