After officially filing for divorce from Ben Affleck on August 20, Jennifer Lopez has been quite active on social media, and it seems she’s expressing a lot through her posts.
The Maid in Manhattan actress submitted legal documents to the Los Angeles County Superior Court last month, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the divorce.
Both parties seem to be moving on with their lives. Recently, a representative for Ben Affleck had to address rumors about him dating Kathleen ‘Kick’ Kennedy, the 36-year-old daughter of politician Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez has shared a series of images on Instagram, many of which hint at how she’s been spending her summer and dealing with the break-up.
Earlier today (September 1), Lopez posted 16 photos on Instagram with the caption: “Oh, it was a summer.”
The first image is a mirror selfie where she poses with her hand on her hip, sporting a serious expression.
The second image is a quote saying: “Everything is unfolding in divine order.”

The third photo is of Lopez licking an ice cream. Following that, there’s a mirror selfie with her sister Lynda Lopez, and then a picture of a kitten peeking out from behind a Super Mario backpack.
The sixth photo shows some kids at what appears to be a yard sale. The seventh is a picture of a dog wearing a cute outfit, followed by a close-up of a kitten and a child. The ninth is a selfie of J Lo in the sun, wearing big sunglasses and smiling.
The tenth image features a comfy outfit and slippers with the top reading ‘Blessed mam.’ The eleventh is another mirror selfie, but this time with J Lo facing away from the mirror. The twelfth image is a bubble bath with more bubbles than bath, and the thirteenth is particularly notable.
The 13th picture is of someone wearing a t-shirt that reads: “She’s in bloom and unbothered out of reach and at peace.”
The fourteenth image is of J Lo sitting on a chair wearing a dress with a red handbag and heels. The fifteenth is a picture of daisies, and the last one is another selfie where she wears a t-shirt that says ‘DREAM.’
