Virginia Giuffre’s father has made a heartfelt plea as his daughter reportedly battles life-threatening health complications following a car accident.
Giuffre recently shared with her 15,000 Instagram followers that she’s been “given four days to live” after suffering kidney renal failure. According to her post, the health crisis stemmed from a collision with a school bus traveling at 110km/h while she was slowing to make a turn. Details about when and where the accident occurred remain unclear.
“I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time,” Giuffre wrote in her emotional social media update.
In response, her father, Sky Roberts, posted: “Virginia, my daughter, I love you and praying you get the correct treatment to live a long and healthy life. If there is anything in the world I can do to help you, please let me know. My spirit is with you now and holding your hand.”
Giuffre, 41, gained public attention when she sued Prince Andrew for sexual assault in 2021. The case was settled out of court for an undisclosed sum, with Prince Andrew not admitting any wrongdoing. She was also among Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers, claiming that both Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell groomed her.
According to Giuffre’s post, she has been transferred to a specialist hospital in urology. While she stated she has only days to live, medical information indicates that with proper treatment, patients with serious kidney failure can survive much longer. As the Cleveland Clinic notes, “With proper treatment, you can continue to live a happy, fulfilling life,” though treatment would likely be needed for the rest of one’s life.
The main treatments for kidney failure typically include dialysis and kidney transplantation.
