The FBI has initiated a task force aimed at addressing ‘domestic terrorism’ and attacks on Tesla.
Recently, there has been a surge in incidents targeting Tesla cars and dealerships, following CEO Elon Musk’s association with Donald Trump and the White House.
On March 18, a Tesla dealership in Las Vegas experienced vandalism, with vehicles outside set on fire.
The word ‘resist’ was also spray-painted across the dealership building.
A subsequent incident on March 24 involved ‘incendiary devices’ placed inside a showroom in Austin.
The Austin police released a statement, as reported by The Independent: “When officers arrived on scene, they located suspicious devices, and called the APD Bomb Squad to investigate.
“The devices, which were determined to be incendiary, were taken into police custody without incident.”
FBI Director Kash Patel commented on the matter following the Texas event: “The FBI has been investigating the increase in violent activity toward Tesla, and over the last few days, we have taken additional steps to crack down and coordinate our response.”
“This is domestic terrorism,” Patel stated. “Those responsible will be pursued, caught, and brought to justice.”

In response to the rising number of Tesla-related incidents, the FBI has formed a task force to address the situation.
The agency is collaborating with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to investigate these anti-Tesla attacks.
FBI Assistant Director for Public Affairs Ben Williamson confirmed this on Twitter: “Can confirm: The FBI has launched a Task Force in conjunction with ATF to coordinate investigative activity and crack down on violent Tesla attacks. More to come.”
According to The New York Post, the bureau has received 48 reports this month related to Tesla vehicles, dealerships, and charging stations.
They are reportedly working alongside local law enforcement on at least seven of these cases.
The establishment of the task force follows Trump’s threats to send those responsible for the Tesla attacks to El Salvador’s harshest prison.
On March 21, the President posted on TruthSocial: “I look forward to watching the sick terrorist thugs get 20 year jail sentences for what they are doing to Elon Musk and Tesla.
“Perhaps they could serve them in the prisons of El Salvador, which have become so recently famous for such lovely conditions!”
