There’s Something Wrong With This Stunning Stately Home. But Can You Spot What It Is?

This stunning stately home is the kind of place anyone would be happy to live in, with enormous rooms and furnishings fit for a king.

There’s only one drawback though — this gorgeous mansion is entirely made out of gingerbread.

The bricks, mortar, furniture, and accessories of this edible replica of Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire, UK, were all made out of gingerbread by pro bakers the Biscuiteers.

The giant gingerbread house is over 2m in size and used icing to recreate intricate details of Waddesdon’s best-loved rooms, including decorative lighting and stunning artworks.

The whole creation took over 500 hours to complete and the recipe required 240 eggs and a whopping 216kg of icing.

The edible mansion is currently on show at Waddesdon House until January 2nd.

And there’s even a gingerbread Christmas tree included int he festive showpiece, complete with working lights and baubles.

Now that’s what we call a gingerbread house!
