Financial Details of Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan’s Divorce Settlement Disclosed

Details of the financial settlement between Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan in their divorce have emerged through legal documents.

These documents, filed on November 26, outline the agreement between the two, who initially met on the set of Step Up in 2006.

After getting married in 2009, they welcomed their daughter, Everly, in 2013.

In 2018, Dewan initiated divorce proceedings, citing irreconcilable differences. They now share custody of their 12-year-old daughter, Everly.

Tatum and Dewan have faced ongoing legal disputes over the Magic Mike movie franchise’s revenue distribution.

In April 2024, Dewan’s representative, Samantha Spector, stated that while Dewan had received some funds, child support and other assets could not be allocated until the earnings from Magic Mike were resolved.

Dewan’s representatives argue she deserves a portion of the earnings since the franchise began during their marriage.

“The Magic Mike intellectual property and all the proceeds thereon is the elephant in the room,” remarked Spector at the time.

“We have, for the last couple of years, been trying to meaningfully resolve this case, but every time we do, we get stuck on that issue with Magic Mike.

“We are dealing with a potential billion-dollar asset.”

Tatum countered this, asserting that he ‘never denied Petitioner of her share of the community assets or income’.

His legal team argues that even though the franchise started during their marriage, Tatum ‘continued to create and develop [it] since separation’ and has ‘expended extensive efforts since separation towards the enhancement of the Magic Mike intellectual property and related entities, which [Tatum] contends give rise to his separate property interest therein’.

According to newly revealed documents, as reported by PEOPLE, under the Screen Actors Guild-Producers Pension Plan, both parties will receive 50 percent of each other’s retirement benefits accrued between 2009 and 2018.

In a discussion with Vanity Fair about his divorce, Tatum previously said: “We fought for it for a really long time, even though we both sort of knew that we had sort of grown apart.”

Since their separation, Dewan has become engaged to Steve Kazee since 2020, and they have welcomed two children together – son Callum, five, and daughter Rhiannon, one.

On the other hand, Tatum has been linked to Inka Williams following his breakup with Zoë Kravitz, whom he dated for two years before proposing in 2023. The couple eventually parted ways in 2024.

Representatives for Tatum and Dewan have been contacted for comments.
