Former Kardashian Nanny Breaks Silence on Rumor She Slept With Travis Barker

Leah Barrs, who previously worked as Kourtney Kardashian’s nanny, has shut down rumors that she was ever romantically involved with Travis Barker after spending three years with the family.

Barrs worked for Kardashian between 2019 and 2022, helping care for the three children she shares with ex-partner Scott Disick.

The children are Mason, 16, Penelope, 14, and Reign, 11.

Since leaving the role, Barrs has built a public profile of her own and went on to appear in the reality series Million Dollar Nannies, which premiered on Hulu and Freeform in June 2026 and follows eight nannies in Ibiza as they work to launch a luxury travel nanny agency.

During an August 4 appearance on Harry Jowsey’s Boyfriend Material podcast, she was asked about speculation linking her to Barker and gave a direct response.

“No, oh my gosh, no,” the nanny said.

She did, however, explain that years before Kardashian and Barker’s relationship, she had slept with a single father she worked for. That past incident resurfaced in conversation because of earlier controversy involving a former employer.

Barker and Kardashian now share two-year-old son Rocky.

Barrs described how the earlier situation became known.

“So, this was when I first moved to Los Angeles. I was 22,” the 31-year-old said.

According to Barrs, she told another nanny on the Hulu show about what had happened, and the story then spread.

She said the family she worked for at the time later found out and allegedly dismissed her.

Even so, Barrs said she had seen the man involved as a friend.

“I did him a favor one night, and he came back from his event,” she said on the podcast. “The daughter was asleep. Technically, I’m clocked out. He is my friend. I’ve always thought he was hot. We hook up.”

Barrs added: “It’s just something that was so insignificant, like so long ago that just got blown out of proportion.”

She said that fallout ultimately led to her being fired, something she believes is visible throughout the show.

“I cried episodes one through eight,” she said, however, realized ‘it was my own fault’ because she ‘should’ve just closed my mouth’ and not told anyone about it.

She also reflected on the same incident in comments to People.

“I was young—I was 22 at the time. And I shouldn’t have done that.”

“I was working for him that night, so I shouldn’t have crossed that line. But I’m not that person today,” she continued. “[Now], he’s happily married. Pack it up.”

Barrs has previously spoken about how she was hired by Kardashian, saying an LA pastor helped connect them.

As she recalled to The New York Post, the opportunity came unexpectedly.

“It was fate,” Barrs claimed at the time. “He said, ‘I think you would be perfect for the position. Would you want to work for the Kardashians? I was like, ‘Holy s***. This is crazy! YES!'”

She said the role involved much more than traditional childcare duties.

“I learned a lot about myself – [Kourtney] really taught me to be a better worker,” she went on to say. “Networking, being the best version of myself.”
