Kendra Wilkinson has criticised celebrities who, she says, aren’t being upfront about using GLP-1 medication for weight loss.
The former Playboy model has spoken candidly about her own experience with the drugs, while suggesting others in the public eye aren’t being as transparent.
GLP-1 medications were originally approved to help treat diabetes by affecting how the body manages insulin.
But they’re also known for helping people feel fuller, which can support weight loss when paired with diet and exercise.
In recent years, more versions of GLP-1 treatments have become available, including a pill that has recently received FDA approval.
Wilkinson said her decision to start using GLP-1 medication was motivated by more than just wanting to change her appearance.

In a post on her Instagram page, she said: “Starting my GLP-1 journey and being really intentional about how I do it for me, it wasn’t just about weight… it was about feeling better, having more energy, and actually trusting the process instead of rushing it.”
Wilkinson also captioned the post: “I wanted something that felt transparent, supportive, and realistic for my lifestyle.”
She added that she was interested to see what progress would look like over the next few weeks.
However, she also included a pointed line that appeared to reference others: “Unlike most people I’m being honest.”
The remark seemed to be directed at celebrities who have been the subject of speculation around GLP-1 use, but who haven’t publicly confirmed it.

Wilkinson has also previously discussed her frustrations with trying to see results through exercise alone, speaking to Us Weekly: “There’s nothing worse than being in a gym every single day, working out and not seeing any progress.
“I hit 40. I’m happy. I’m at peace, but I noticed that my jeans are a little tighter lately, so I don’t want to go out and shop anymore.
“Mama is on a budget, so I have to fit back in my jeans.”
Now 40, Wilkinson first rose to prominence through her relationship with Hugh Hefner and her appearance on Girls Next Door.
Since then, she has developed a career in real estate and has pushed back against criticism about ageing, saying she feels more content with life than ever.
“For some reason I’m happier than I’ve ever been lately even with a little weight gain and wrinkles and I’m not going to tie my happiness again into the negative energy,” she said previously.
“I am a balanced, single, positive, fun woman who loves life and I hope that I can manage this feeling forever now after working hard to get here to this place.”
