Netflix continues to do what it’s known for: rolling out fresh original movies and series.
The platform adds new titles at a relentless pace — from throwback favorites to brand-new originals, including the latest season of Love on the Spectrum (now streaming).
With so many drops happening so frequently, it’s easy to lose track of what’s arriving when. To help, here’s a quick roundup of upcoming Netflix releases over the next few days that are genuinely worth putting on your watchlist.
This week also brings the return of two major shows for their second seasons — and the first one lands tomorrow (April 15).
Season two of the high-stakes, cutthroat series Million Dollar Secret arrives on Netflix on April 15.
Its debut season earned a strong 83 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, making a follow-up feel like only a matter of time.
Presented by Peter Serafinowicz, the competition throws a group of strangers together as they try to figure out who among them is secretly holding the million-dollar prize. If they identify the right person, they’ll have a shot at taking the money for themselves.
“This season, the stakes are higher than ever as players face trickier agendas and grueling challenges and navigate the ever-changing game of deception,” Netflix’s TUDUM says of the new season.
After Lee Sung Jin’s first season of BEEF became a breakout hit starring Ali Wong and Steven Yuen, the series returns with season two on April 16.
BEEF has shifted into an anthology format, meaning the story doesn’t continue with Wong and Yuen’s characters. Instead, the new season introduces a fresh cast and storyline led by Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny.
The synopsis for season two reads: “At an elite country club, two young employees film an alarming fight between their boss and his wife — and ignite a blackmail war neither side can win.”
With season one sitting at an impressive 98 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, expectations are understandably high for what comes next.
Once you’ve powered through the intensity of BEEF season two, you may want something calmer — and David Attenborough’s newest documentary, debuting April 17, fits that role perfectly.
In his latest project, the 99-year-old naturalist revisits a group of gorillas he first encountered in the 1970s, telling their story with his trademark warmth and perspective.
A key moment revisited is Attenborough’s first encounter with Pablo, a baby Rwandan mountain gorilla, back in the 70s. The touching footage has been described as ‘one of the most iconic moments in wildlife filmmaking’.
You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah actor Sadie Sandler — the daughter of Adam Sandler — returns to Netflix with another comedy project, this time as a TV series.
Arriving on April 17, the show centers on Devon (Sandler) and her roommate Celeste (Chloe East), as their seemingly sweet new bond turns tense when their ‘blossoming friendship quickly spirals into a war of passive aggression’.
