Gabourey Sidibe has snuck off and tied the knot with Brandon Frankel!
The Oscar-nominated “Precious” star revealed on Monday that the couple had secretly wed in March 2021 and we can’t help but be thrilled for the happy couple.
“The thing about weddings is I don’t like them. I don’t like them,” the “Precious” star explained to the hosts. “Here’s an example of how much I don’t like them: I’m actually married. We got married over a year ago.”
Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Rippa were left stunned when Frankel, an entertainment executive, was spotted in the audience with a ring on his finger, confirming the news of his secret wedding.
Gabourey Sidibe revealed that the intimate ceremony was just the two of them at the kitchen table, and they plan to have a larger wedding to satisfy Frankel’s mother-in-law.
Sidibe shared that she’s not a fan of big weddings, having been uninvited to many of her mother’s wedding singer gigs.
“So thankful to have found my forever person, my partner-in-crime, and the love of my life. Every day is the best day with you,” Frankel added. “Nobody I would rather raise cats with and be in bed by a smooth 8pm with. Love you forever”
