Gavin Newsom was spotted partying with his wife at a Noah Kahan concert in San Francisco last Friday.
The California governor, whose term expires later this year, was seen on the front row rocking out to the Americana artist at Oracle Park, according to footage that surfaced. Newsom, 57, was just feet from the stage and could be seen dancing and singing along while Jennifer Siebel Newsom, 50, recorded on her cellphone.
The couple appeared to be enjoying a rare night off from political duties as they took in the sold-out show. Newsom was shown bobbing his head to hits including “Stick Season” during the performance, fully immersed in the concert atmosphere.

The San Francisco show was part of Kahan’s The Great Divide Tour, his fifth headlining concert tour, which kicked off in June. The sold-out Oracle Park show also featured opening acts Gigi Perez and Annabelle Dinda.
Kahan, a two-time Grammy-nominated folk-pop artist, has been drawing massive crowds across the country. The Vermont-born singer-songwriter has seen his popularity surge in recent years with emotionally raw lyrics that have resonated with a broad audience.
Newsom has faced mounting speculation about his political future as his second term winds down. The governor has been frequently mentioned as a potential presidential contender, though he has publicly backed other Democratic figures for national office.
Jennifer Siebel Newsom is a documentary filmmaker and actress who has been active on women’s rights issues during her time as California’s first partner. The couple married in 2008 and have four children together.
In the viral moment that circulated Friday, Newsom appeared loose and unguarded, a contrast to his typically controlled public image as he moves through his final months in office. The footage showed him fully engaged with the music, head-bopping and mouthing lyrics while standing near the barricade separating the crowd from the stage.

Kahan is wrapping up his American dates before heading to Australia, New Zealand and Europe in the fall. The “Dial Drunk” singer will have his next concert in Sandy, Utah and then will head to Vancouver, Canada and Seattle’s T-Mobile Park.
