You may be looking at beauty’s next biggest trend: temporary freckle tattoos.
As a child, Remi Brixton, from LA, dreamed of having freckles. Now, she’s making it a reality for herself and other women with a cheek stencil that allows women to apply temporary freckles that last for up to two days.
All she needs to make this a thing is $215,000 (£141,000), which she’s hoping to raise via a Kickstarter campaign.
The Freck Yourself kit comes with 72 self-adhesive stencils with tiny perforations as well as a formula similar to fake tan that is rolled over the stencil, marking the skin through the stencil’s tiny holes.
Prices start at $36 with shipments taking place in February 2016.
The beauty entrepreneur told the Daily Mail: “There’s nothing more beautiful to me than bare skin and fresh freckles. To me, they’re the mark of rebellious dreamers, wild adventurists, and unapologetic natural beauty.”
Voila!
A testimonial from a woman called Apphia, based in Los Angeles, says: “I’ve always dreamed of having freckles and now that dream is a reality! Freck Yourself gives you natural freckles with the easiest application.”
However, the response hasn’t been all positive — some women with natural freckles are annoyed by the fact that freckles have now been deemed “trendy” by beauty gurus.
i remember wanting to cry in fourth grade when someone gave me shut about having freckles and now people want fake freckles….ok

@FreckYourself is actually kinda making me mad because my freckles were always what I hated most about myself and now they’re selling them.
