Ghislaine Maxwell has recently discussed her association with Elon Musk during a new interview conducted by the Department of Justice.
Currently incarcerated following her 2021 conviction for child sex trafficking linked to Jeffrey Epstein, Maxwell had a conversation with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.
During the two-day discussion at FCI Tallahassee, a low-security women’s prison in Florida, Maxwell talked about several notable individuals, including Musk.
Regarding her encounter with the tech mogul, she recounted meeting Musk at a birthday celebration in either 2010 or 2011.
She elaborated: “We were — or a bunch of us, I don’t even remember how many we were, but not many of us.
“[We] went to another friend’s island… Epstein, he was not there… And we were there together for, I want to say, three or four days, something like that in my memory. And Mr. Musk was present for that.”
Maxwell was also questioned about meeting Kimbal Musk, Elon Musk’s brother. She replied: “I don’t know if I’ve ever met him. I know that he has a brother, and I don’t think I met him.”
Blanche inquired, “And do you know whether Mr. Epstein knew Mr. Musk?”
Maxwell answered: “I believe they did. And the only reason I say that is not from my memory, but because I saw — I think I saw — my memory is that in discovery, they were communicating on email.”
She further clarified, stating that she did not possess firsthand knowledge of that information, adding: “I don’t — my — like I said, my memory is not — it’s not as good as I would like it to be,” she stated. “And I just want to say that.”
UNILAD has reached out to Musk for comment.
Maxwell also mentioned Donald Trump, stating she never observed him behaving inappropriately.
“I never witnessed the president in any inappropriate setting in any way,” she asserted.
“The president was never inappropriate with anybody. In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects.”
On Friday, August 22, Trump commented on the potential presence of people in the Epstein files who “don’t deserve to be there.”
A reporter asked Trump if he supported the Department of Justice sending some of the Epstein files to the House Oversight Committee and potentially releasing them.
Trump replied: “I’m in support of keeping it open. Innocent people shouldn’t be hurt.”
“You have a lot of people that could be mentioned in those files that don’t deserve to be because he knew everybody in Palm Beach,” he explained.
“I have said to Pam and everybody else, give them everything you can give them, because it’s a Democrat hoax, the whole Epstein thing is a Democrat hoax.”
Recently, the Trump administration has experienced growing pressure to reveal the so-called Epstein files, believed to potentially include a ‘client list’ of the elite.
It has been over five months since Attorney General Pam Bondi indicated the files were awaiting release, though the Department of Justice later stated it would not disclose additional files related to the case. The DOJ also noted that no ‘client list’ exists.
Despite this, the Trump administration reversed its stance, announcing plans to release all FBI files, including grand jury testimony, associated with the case.
