Ghost Adventures Host Speaks Out After Wife’s Arrest in Alleged Murder-for-Hire Scheme Against Him

Aaron Goodwin, the host of Ghost Adventures, has addressed his fans and supporters for the first time following the arrest of his wife, who is accused of plotting to have him murdered.

Goodwin previously expressed that he thought his marriage was in a good place before discovering that his wife, Victoria Goodwin, had been detained. Victoria faces two serious charges in Clark County, Nevada—solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder—stemming from accusations that she sought to hire a hitman to target Aaron.

Law enforcement officials claim that Victoria was in communication with Grant Amato, a convicted murderer serving a life sentence in Florida for killing his family members. She has refuted the allegations, asserting that she was merely fantasizing about leaving her marriage, not actually plotting to kill her husband.

Following the revelation on March 11, Goodwin discussed the situation with TMZ, admitting his surprise at the unexpected developments.

Over the weekend, he took to Instagram to express his gratitude for the outpouring of support as he navigates this challenging time. He thanked everyone for their kindness, stating, “Thank you everyone for all the love and support through this emotionally trying time. It has really helped a lot and I appreciate you all.”

Fans have rallied around Goodwin, offering him encouragement and reassurance. Comments have poured in, with supporters expressing their solidarity and concern for his well-being. Messages of love, prayers, and positivity have been abundant as fans seek to uplift him during this personal crisis.

Authorities allege that Victoria shared information about Aaron’s location while he was working on Ghost Adventures in California, which could have facilitated the execution of the plot. Investigators have found text messages discussing a $2,500 initial payment for the assassination, and they believe Victoria set aside $11,000 for the hitman. Additionally, Amato reportedly discussed the plan with another person.

Victoria remains in custody with a bail set at $100,000.
