‘Good Morning America’ Hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ Romance Revealed After PDA Pics Surface

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach’s connection on Good Morning America has grown amorous.

Holmes, 45, and Robach, 49, are shown cuddling on many occasions. Both had been married to their husbands since 2010 – Holmes to attorney Marilee Fiebig and Robach to actor Andrew Shue – but reports said that both had divorced before word of their romance became public.

Robach was no longer wearing her wedding band in the photographs she uploaded on Instagram in October. She and Shue are still Instagram friends.

“Amy and T.J. had always had a warm supportive friendship and they bonded over their love of running. There have been whispers at ABC about a possible relationship between them for the last several months.”

The two have been close friends for years, but their connection has changed.

“They’ve recently grown even closer due to their cohosting GMA3, and traveling for special remote assignments, like going to London for the Queen’s funeral,” one source says. “The two have a special bond that has been evident to staff for years, so it’s not surprising a relationship has formed, but it is shocking that it has come to light in this way.”

“Their romance has been going on in secret for quite some time, but how long is actually unclear, since they tried their best to keep things professional and quiet. Everything they did on set was entertaining, occasionally playful, but always professional.”

The two are shown inside a New York City bar sitting close to each other while drinking drinks in one series of images released by the Daily Mail on Nov. 10. In one image, Robach playsfully rests her head on the bar while Holmes bends over her, perhaps whispering something in her ear. The couple follows each other outside of the Times Square venue and gets into the same black SUV.

The site also received images of Robach and Holmes allegedly filling up a car on Nov. 13 after a weekend away in Upstate New York. Holmes, dressed in a black sweatsuit, is shown in the images with his hand on Robach’s behind as she packs things into the trunk of a car.

Back in New York City, another photo shows the couple holding hands inside a car.

The two have been seen walking between their separate New York City apartments. According to the publication, Robach and Holmes’ alleged off-screen romance began in June when they were in London to cover Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

In February 2010, Robach married Shue, who appeared on Melrose Place. She is also the mother of two daughters, Ava and Annie, with her ex-husband, Tim McIntosh. Meanwhile, Holmes and Fiebig, a Roc Nation attorney, have a daughter named Sabine. Holmes has two children from a previous relationship: Brianna and Jaiden.

Holmes and Robach have not commented on the photos released on Wednesday. Good Morning America has been contacted for comment.

Holmes and Robach are the hosts of GMA 3, the program’s midday hour. Since 2020, the pair has sat next to each other at the anchor desk every workday. On Wednesday, Holmes was the only anchor of GMA 3.

At the top of the hour, he remarked, “Robach is not here, Dr Ashton is not here.” “Stay with me, people. Those two are working on assignment today.”

Following the release of the photos, Holmes has deactivated his Twitter and Instagram accounts, while Fiebig’s Instagram has been made private.

Robach just released a collection of photos from the New York City Marathon, which Holmes also participated in. In the photos, she and Holmes wear their medals while posing with other marathon participants. The two are members of a club that frequently runs marathons in the New York City region.

In July, Robach posted a photo of herself and Holmes at the GMA desk, both wearing pink.

Robach wrote, “T.J. simply likes it when we match.” Holmes is dressed in a black suit with a pink tie, while Robach is dressed in a black frock with pink flowers printed on it. Robach has also posted photos of Holmes and her husband smiling together when on group trips.
