A kind stranger was caught on camera recently giving the very shirt off his back to a topless homeless man on the subway in New York.

In a video captured by onlooker Lazaro Nolasco, the man removes his t-shirt and gives it to the homeless man.
The anonymous giver then returns with a black beanie hat which he also offers to the man.
According to Lazaro, the homeless man looked unwell and was asked by the good samaritan if he wanted to go to the hospital. Sadly, Lazaro was unsure what happened next.
Commenters described being moved by the video, as well as praising the stranger for proving that not all New Yorkers are rude.
