Mark Herman, a news director in Tucson, Arizona resigned from his position at KOLD-TV in a very sweet way.
He announced his departure through social media and included a picture of a cake, saying: “I handed in the most delicious letter of resignation ever.”

He knew that news of his departure would be disappointing, so he did it with a white cake with strawberry filling. “Nobody could be sad or mad at a cake,” he said, adding that “a cake of resignation is pretty damn hilarious.”
After the official announcement was made by his boss, Herman said: “The cake definitely made the news a little more palatable.”
