Alaia Baldwin Aronow will not face jail time after completing a pre-trial diversion program.
Baldwin Aronow, 33, the older sister of Hailey Bieber, had her assault case formally dismissed last Friday after prosecutors in Chatham County, Georgia, confirmed she finished the program and paid the required $300 fee. Court records show the State of Georgia asked the court to close the case without further prosecution and dismiss any associated warrants.
The model was arrested in March 2024 at Club Elan in Savannah and booked on charges of simple assault, simple battery, battery and criminal trespassing. The incident allegedly began after she was seen throwing up in the bathroom and escalated into a confrontation with staff.
Baldwin Aronow allegedly threw a used tampon at female bartender Haleigh Cauley during the altercation. The police report noted, “She also initially denied throwing her used tampon at Ms. Cauley but later stated she did throw it.”
The model also allegedly tore a chunk of hair from one bouncer’s head and struck another bouncer in the genitals. When confronted by authorities about the alleged attacks on the security staff, Baldwin Aronow told them she was merely “defending herself.”
In January, reports indicated Baldwin Aronow could face up to one year in prison on the battery charge. The pre-trial diversion program allowed her to avoid that outcome entirely.
Baldwin Aronow is the eldest daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and Kennya Baldwin. She served as maid of honor at her sister Hailey’s 2017 wedding to producer Andrew Aronow, and Hailey returned the role at Baldwin Aronow’s own wedding to Aronow that same year. Baldwin Aronow was also present at Hailey’s 2019 wedding to Justin Bieber.
Despite not being publicly seen together in recent years, the sisters appear to maintain a close relationship. Hailey and Justin Bieber have shared photos spending time with Baldwin Aronow’s daughter, Iris.
