Hawk Tuah Girl delivers ruthless comeback to Yung Gravy after he shares their message screenshots

Haliey Welch appears to have addressed Yung Gravy on Twitter after he posted screenshots of their direct messages.

Hailey, widely recognized as Hawk Tuah Girl, recently disclosed that the ‘Betty’ rapper had asked her out on a date, but she declined.

Yung Gravy has since shared screenshots of their Instagram conversation, suggesting that his intentions were simply to be ‘nice’ and not to make advances on the viral star.

One of his messages, which he shared on Twitter, read: “Damn I just looked at ur page and u realy out here doing this s**t lol congrats b [sic].”

He continued in another DM: “When i went to find ur page i was fr just tryna salute u for being a certified top champ.”

“This aint just me trying to finesse cause idk ur mans situation,” the rapper added. “But i wanted to have u at a show next month to hear my country s**t.”

Haliey quickly responded to his post, sharing additional screenshots that showed Yung Gravy initiating the conversation, which his shared pictures had omitted.

He first messaged Haliey on July 29 with ‘Hello maam’, and she responded two days later.

Yung Gravy also appeared to follow up, sharing the dates of his US concerts and sending her a link to his Spotify to check out his new country music.

Retweeting the rapper’s post on Twitter, Haliey said: “Close but no gravy.”

People have since described her response as ‘savage’, with one person replying: “Savage showing them receipts.”

“The drama i didn’t know i needed,” commented someone else, while another joked: “Bros about to change his name from gravy to grave after the way you killed him with that.”

Some wondered if there was now tension between Yung Gravy and Haliey.

“No reason to beef, Gravy is a good guy, you should meet him,” wrote one Twitter user.

Haliey clarified that there’s no animosity between them, stating: “No beef just having fun.”

While many saw it as light-hearted, some criticized Haliey for calling out the rapper, believing Yung Gravy had not behaved inappropriately.

“What are we supposed to get out of this?” one person questioned. “He wasn’t asking you out aggressively. It wasn’t even direct.

“Maybe he should’ve been, then this expose would’ve made sense.”

“At what point in these screenshots did he ask you out,” another wondered.
