Heartbreaking new details emerge after newborn baby is found dead in California

An infant was found dead near the 100 block of Struve Road in north Monterey County on Saturday after fire personnel confirmed the child was deceased.

Fire, EMS, and sheriff’s deputies were dispatched just after 8:30 a.m. to a report of an infant that had been located near the 100 block of Struve Road, near Moss Landing, in north Monterey County.

The deceased infant was found at about 8:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Struve Road, in the unincorporated area of Moss Landing, by someone who reported it to authorities.

The death was confirmed by Monterey County firefighters and paramedics that responded to the call along with sheriff’s deputies.
