Like everyone, 19-year-old Daniel is always trying to find ways to save a little cash.
The community college student and stand-up comic from Los Angeles, California, shared that he’s “notorious” for wasting money on the “dumbest things.”
“I once spent, like, $30 on pineapples,” he said.
Recently, Daniel became unemployed so money has been tighter than usual. To fight his inexplicable urge to spend money on things he doesn’t need, he came up with this incredible life hack.
He put a photo of tough-guy actor Terry Crews in his wallet to keep an eye on his financial decisions.
“Do you really need that second beer, Daniel?”
“Do ya?”
“Punk?”
Daniel said he got the idea after he lost his ID a few days ago.
“I was thinking, ‘What should I put there?’ and I thought I should start saving money since I don’t have a job, and who’s a better financial advisor than Terry Crews?”
Terry Crews is well-known for his role as the very frugal dad Julius on “Everyone Hates Chris”.
He’s also an ex-NFL player and star of Brooklyn Nine-Nine — not somebody to be messing with.

“I thought it would be pretty funny and a lot of people would be like, damn that’s actually a really good idea.”
