Hugh Hefner’s former girlfriend Holly Madison recently discussed some of the challenges she faced while dating the Playboy founder.
Madison, who is now 45, once held the title of Hefner’s “number one girlfriend” during her stay at the Playboy mansion in the early 2000s.
The iconic Los Angeles residence was a hub of activity, with many people coming and going, but a select group of women, being Hefner’s girlfriends, were fixtures at the mansion. Hefner passed away at the age of 91 in 2017.
Among those women was Madison, who, after her stint on the reality TV series “The Girls Next Door,” has talked about her experiences, including their intimate relationship.
During an appearance on the “In Your Dreams Podcast” with Owen Thiele, Madison shed light on what it was like to share Hefner with his other girlfriends at the time, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson, as well as her general experience at the mansion.
Regarding their intimate encounters, Madison described them as “normal” despite the significant 50-year age gap between her and Hefner but confessed there was one aspect she particularly disliked.
She explained, “Well, it’s a very different story between when we were just by ourselves than with everybody else in the room. Everybody else in the room, no. That was disgusting. I hated it. I made it very known I hated it. If it was just me and him, it was a lot more normal than you would think.”
Madison also revealed that discussing her sex life often led to ridicule on social media due to the age difference.
She remarked, “I think everybody has this real horror story of how gross an old man’s body must be.”
She continued, “I feel like there was a time when I couldn’t post anything without some dumba** in the comments like, ‘Oh, old balls’, or something like that and look, maybe some people’s balls do get old and nasty, but I’ve never seen such a thing.”
Madison also shared insights on the challenges of living a high-profile life and the pressures of being Hefner’s girlfriend.
In an interview with the Mail Online, she stated, “When you’re involved in a world where you’re highly sexualized or sexualizing yourself, and there’s a lot of things at stake and things you could possibly gain, like fame, money, opportunities, there’s people around you who are jealous of those things. It’s truly living life in the fast lane.”
