In a London courtroom, it was revealed that Barron Trump, the youngest son of US President Donald Trump, made an emergency call to 999 after witnessing an attack on a woman during a FaceTime conversation.
The incident occurred on January 18, 2025, when an unnamed woman was reportedly assaulted by a man in the early morning hours.
Barron Trump, who was on a video call with the woman at the time, immediately contacted the City of London Police from the United States by dialing 999 to report the attack.
During the proceedings at Snaresbook Crown Court in East London, jurors listened to Barron’s recorded emergency call, as reported by the Mirror.
The 19-year-old reportedly informed the operator, “It’s really an emergency, please. I got a call from her with a guy beating her up.”
Tensions arose between Barron and the emergency operator, who reportedly reprimanded him for being ‘rude’ and urged him to ‘actually answer’ their ‘questions’.

The operator emphasized, “If you want to help the person, you’ll answer my questions clearly and precisely.”
Barron explained that he ‘met’ the woman online and said she was ‘getting really badly beat up’.
He mentioned that the call happened ‘about eight minutes’ before he contacted 999, and he apologized, saying, “So sorry for being rude.”
Barron later recounted to the police, “She called me. I picked up the phone expecting a nice hello or something. I just saw a ceiling and could hear screaming. I could see a guy’s head on the phone, and then the camera turns to her crying and getting hit.”
The call reportedly lasted around 10 to 15 seconds before disconnecting, prompting Barron to call 999, according to The Independent. Despite the situation, he refrained from calling back or threatening the woman’s attacker, believing it would worsen the situation.
Officers were dispatched to the location, and the woman informed them she was ‘friends with Barron Trump, Donald Trump’s son,’ as reported by the Daily Mail.
A man named Matvei Rumiantsev is currently on trial, facing charges of assault, actual bodily harm, perverting the course of justice, and two counts of rape.

Rumiantsev, a former Russian MMA fighter, allegedly called the woman derogatory names and told her, “You are not worth anything.”
He is also accused of grabbing her hair, pushing her to the floor, and kicking her in the stomach.
Sasha Wass KC, Rumiantsev’s defense attorney, described the woman’s allegations as ‘untrue and fabricated.’ She claimed that it was the woman who became ‘angry and violent’ and that Rumiantsev was merely trying to restrain her, as reported by Metro.
In contrast, the woman testified in court, stating she ‘didn’t invent that,’ noting it would be ‘completely evil and disgraceful toward people who have been in that situation’ if she had fabricated the story.
She credited Barron, saying, “He helped save my life. That call was like a sign from God at that moment.”
The trial continues.
