How Melinda Gates Handles ‘Despair’ Amidst Bill’s Mention in Recent Epstein Files

Melinda French Gates opened up about experiencing ‘despair’ and her methods of coping following her ‘painful’ separation from Bill Gates.

Melinda and Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, were married for 27 years before their split in 2021—a decision Bill has expressed regret over.

Recently, serious allegations against Bill emerged from newly released Epstein files. These files, containing emails from Jeffrey Epstein, accuse Bill of having ‘slept with Russian girls’ and ‘contracted STDs from them’, and supposedly supplying Epstein with ‘antibiotics’ to give to Melinda.

The 2013 memo further alleged: “To add insult to the injury you then [sic] implore me to please delete the emails regarding your std, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda and the description of your penis.”

A representative for Gates dismissed these allegations as ‘absolutely absurd and completely false’.

In response to the claims, Melinda was questioned by NPR’s Wild Card host Rachel Martin about whether she has forgiven her former husband. Melinda responded, “I think I’m gonna keep that one to myself.”

During their conversation, Melinda also shared her approach to dealing with ‘despair’.

“Hope. Always hope,” she explained. “When I’m really in despair, it’s probably one of the best times to go out and see community work, either in the United States or another country.”

She elaborated: “When you see people helping one another, and you see people saying, ‘You know what, I can make sure this kid gets on this path’, or, ‘I’m going to tutor that kid’, or ‘I’m going to show up and serve on a food line on a cold day’, right?

“It just reminds you that, our humanity– there’s so much hope in the world. There’s so much goodness.”

Melinda mentioned that getting away from screens and witnessing this hope firsthand significantly uplifts her.

“That really, really lifts me up and helps me,” Melinda concluded.

Bill Gates also commented on the release of the 3,000,000 pages of Epstein files. He refuted the emails Epstein allegedly sent to himself as ‘false’.

He stated to 9News, “Apparently, Jeffrey wrote an email to himself. That email was never sent. The email is false.”

Bill further questioned, “I don’t know what his thinking was there. Was he trying to attack me in some way?”
