Holly Madison, one of Hugh Hefner’s former girlfriends, has shared insights into why Hefner did not require non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) from women before they engaged in intimate relations with him.
Back in her days at the Playboy Mansion, Madison, now 45, held the special status of being Hefner’s “number one girlfriend.” This was around 20 years ago during her stay at the mansion.
The Playboy Mansion, known for its revolving door of visitors, also housed a few women who were consistent figures before Hefner’s death at 91 in 2017.
Madison has been vocal about her experiences in the mansion, addressing everything from the ‘disgusting’ acts she disliked doing with Hefner to sharing details about their sexual relationship.
On the ‘Girls Next Level’ podcast, Madison explained why Hefner reportedly did not implement NDAs.
Madison stated: “He wanted to be the ultimate host and wanted guests to have the best time ever. He didn’t have people sign NDAs and people are always surprised why we weren’t made to sign NDAs, also.”
She continued, “To me that’s not surprising because ‘Hef’ didn’t want anything to stand in the way of him getting laid, and I think if he was going to have someone stop to sign a paper before they went up into the bedroom it might make a woman pause and say, ‘Wait what am I doing?'”
During an appearance on the In Your Dreams Podcast with Owen Thiele, Madison further discussed her sexual experiences with Hefner.
Despite their 50-year age difference, Madison described the sex with Hefner as ‘normal.’
She also tackled some misconceptions and negative stereotypes she faced due to her relationship with an older man.
Madison remarked, “I think everybody has this real horror story of how gross an old man’s body must be,” adding that comments about “old balls” were common but unfounded in her experience.
She clarified that when it was just the two of them, their intimate life was “a lot more normal than you would think.”
Nonetheless, Madison has been candid about the less favorable aspects of her time with Hefner. In her 2015 memoir and various podcast interviews, she described Hefner as ‘controlling’ and spoke about how ‘miserable’ she felt overall during the relationship.
