Hugh Hefner’s Widow Unveils Playboy Mogul’s ‘Five-Step Seduction Strategy’

Hugh Hefner’s widow has revealed details about their intimate life before his passing.

The Playboy icon died on September 27, 2017, leaving behind his third wife, Crystal Hefner. Before Crystal, Hefner, at 91, had been previously married to Millie Williams from 1949 to 1959, and later to Kimberley Conrad from 1989 to 2010.

In the time since his death, Crystal has made several revelations about her time with Hefner, including admitting that she wasn’t truly ‘in love’ with him. She further expressed that she ‘lost herself’ after first being invited to the Playboy mansion by the wealthy entrepreneur in 2008.

“At the time I thought I was on top,” Crystal shared with PEOPLE earlier this year.

“I thought, wow, if I just like everything that he likes and do all the things that he wants me to do, then I’m the favorite. And I was, but I just lost myself in the process.”

Recently, snippets from her book, Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself, have begun circulating online. In it, Crystal details her sexual experiences with Hefner, describing them as ‘odd and robotic.’

“This was a well-oiled and well-practiced sequence of events,” she wrote.

“One that went the same exact way every time. Picking some girls from the party and bringing them up. Changing into the uniform for the job: silk pyjamas.”

Crystal also outlined his regular routine, saying: “The dimming of the lights. The music. The porn. Passing the pot. And then the sex.”

Although they occasionally engaged in group sex, Crystal expressed a preference for more intimate moments with her husband.

Her book, which was published in January, was released after Crystal, now 38, vowed to expose the ‘toxic’ atmosphere of life at the legendary Playboy mansion.

Speaking to the Daily Mail last year, Crystal said: “Since his passing, I have had to do a lot of self-discovery.”

“I have had to find out who I am without it being dictated to me.”

“I have had to not only find my voice, but I also had to learn how to use that voice.”

“My book is a testament to the power of time, processing all that I have been through and embracing my truth.”

Since Hefner’s passing, Crystal has moved forward and is in a relationship with marine biologist James Ward.
