Introducing low-maintenance, high-impact, moss walls:
They’ve been described as miniature landscapes that invite you to slow down and breathe deeply.
You can have wall dividers, as above, or wall art, below, depending on how much you’re likin’ lichen.
For the real moss-heads out there, how about a mossy office divider? Moss for the boss. Or something.
Is it a feature wall or a TV? Does it show Mossterchef?
Jokes aside, we do love this moss clock with little people sitting on the hour hand.
Why stop at walls? This room features bonus moss hiding under the table.
Apparently, designers were inspired by Buddhist monks tending Zen gardens for peace and tranquility.
The moss is easy to maintain as it’s so tough — all it needs is a bit of humidity and a solid wall to grow on.
If you’re a real fungi, add bits of tree for dramatic effect.
Or make a moss headboard (watch out for creepy crawlies).
Use a really scrubby moss to double up as an exfoliating wall in your bathroom.
This restaurant in Mexico even incorporated patterns and a whole bike.
Upstairs, downstairs — moss walls are pretty versatile.
We’re not sure if we’ll be seeing moss walls in our home yet — it’s probably cheaper and easier to go to the local park to enjoy the atmossphere (last one, sorry).
