Influencer discloses his monthly earnings, and the total could surprise you

A content creator who works full-time has detailed his monthly earnings from his career on social media, and the numbers are quite revealing.

Brian Morr is a Lifestyle and Fashion Creator based in New York City, where he documents his outfit choices, romantic experiences, health routines, and daily life in Manhattan.

With over 76,000 followers on Instagram and an additional 71,600 on TikTok, Brian recently chose to discuss the financial side of being an influencer.

In an Instagram post, Brian expressed his appreciation for transparency, saying he wanted to share his monthly earnings for 2024.

He noted that the year had been challenging, describing it as ‘definitely wasn’t [his] best showing’, and actually marking it as his ‘lowest performing year since 2017’.

Brian proceeded to detail his month-by-month earnings, starting with a surprising fact for January 2024.

As he eased into the year, Brian disclosed that he earned nothing at all from content creation in January.

The situation improved progressively, with earnings of $7,400 in February, $4,400 in March, $6,000 in both April and May, and $4,000 in June.

July was another downturn with $0, but he rebounded to $3,200 in August.

September yielded no income for Brian, but the year concluded with $7,600 in October, $1,200 in November, and $2,000 in December.

Overall, Brian’s earnings totaled $41,800, which is almost $20,000 below the average base salary for workers in New York City, according to Glassdoor. When a viewer questioned how he managed to live in New York City on $40k, Brian revealed he had a ‘little side gig’ to supplement his income.
