Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about events of 2026, with reports pointing to a huge A-list guest list and at least one strict rule for invitees.
The couple announced their engagement on August 26, 2025, in a joint Instagram post with the caption:
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Since then, speculation around the ceremony has only intensified. No official date or venue has been confirmed by Swift or Kelce, but multiple reports in late June 2026 pointed to a July 3 celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with city permit filings and venue street-closure requests adding fuel to the rumor mill.
Although many details remain under wraps, one wedding rule has already emerged after George Kittle spoke about his invite.

The headline policy is a firm no-gifts request from the bride and groom.
Given their circumstances, it is safe to assume they are not particularly short of household essentials or novelty wedding presents.
Kittle, one of Kelce’s NFL teammates, explained that he may still bend the rules slightly.
“They said absolutely no gifts. But I was thinking, Travis, for some reason, really likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin.”
Swift has also spoken publicly about the challenge of wedding planning, particularly when it comes to deciding who makes the guest list.
“The only stressful weddings are ones where you have a small amount, and people are on the bubble.
“And you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them, to see if they should be there. I’m not gonna do that.”
According to PEOPLE, the singer joked that essentially everyone she has ever spoken to could end up being invited.
So which names have actually been linked to the ceremony so far? Here is a look at the high-profile guests who appear to be on the list.

Graham Norton
Swift invited the presenter while appearing on his show in October 2025 during the promotion of her album The Life of a Showgirl.
“If you’re inviting me, it’s very big.”
George Kittle
Kittle has confirmed that he received an invitation and, as already noted, may even ignore the no-gifts rule with his old-coin idea.
Ed Sheeran
The musician, a longtime friend and collaborator of Swift’s, was asked on the Today show whether he had any major weddings lined up this summer.
“Uh, I hope. Yeah, I hope so, man.”
He has not directly said he will be there, but Swift strongly suggested he would be involved when she was asked on Hits Radio Breakfast Show whether he might perform at the wedding.
“It would be hard to keep him from it, I think!”
Jason and Kylie Kelce
Travis Kelce’s brother Jason, along with his wife Kylie, are unsurprisingly expected to attend.
Jason said at a Team 62 Fundraiser:
“I’m very happy for both of them and looking forward to celebrating with them.”
Kylie, meanwhile, made it clear on her Not Gonna Lie podcast that she would not be revealing any private details.
“Quit asking me and me and my mother-in-law [Donna Kelce] about upcoming nuptials. Nobody’s f—ing telling you anything.”
Andy Reid
The Kansas City Chiefs head coach has also strongly implied that he expects to be there.
Asked on The Drive radio whether he had received an invitation, he said:
“Well, I probably have. You know, I probably have. And if I don’t outgrow my tuxedo before then, I’m going,”
Zoe Kravitz
Her attendance has not been publicly confirmed, but reports have linked her to the guest list.
Suki Waterhouse
Waterhouse, who previously opened for Swift on the Eras Tour, is also preparing for her own wedding to Robert Pattinson and has said she plans to attend.
“I’m gonna go to Taylor’s wedding, and maybe I’ll get some inspiration. It will be amazing.”
Other names widely rumored to be on the list include Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, the Haim sisters, Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, and Abigail Anderson Berard, though none of those invitations has been officially confirmed by the couple.
There has also been plenty of speculation about whether Swift’s longtime friends and collaborators could double as performers or special guests, with Ed Sheeran the most obvious candidate if live music is part of the celebration.
For now, the only certainty is that Swift and Kelce appear to be planning a celebration designed to be private, highly secure and star-studded all at once, with the guest list alone already becoming a major pop-culture event.
