Iran has warned that Israel will face a ‘heavy price’ and also issued a message aimed at the US after a fresh round of strikes hit Tehran-linked nuclear locations.
The conflict is now approaching its fifth week, with reports of overnight strikes continuing into Friday.
In the US, media outlets have claimed at least 12 American service members were injured after an Iranian strike on Saudi Arabia’s Prince Sultan Airbase.
Across the Gulf, more locations have reportedly come under attack. In Kuwait, officials said six drones were intercepted over the last 24 hours in “areas of responsibility secured by the task force”, according to the Kuwait National Guard.
Kuwait’s main commercial port at Shuwaikh was also hit, and the country’s airport was among the targets attributed to Iran.

Inside Iran, state media reported that Israel carried out strikes on a nuclear research reactor as well as a facility involved in producing yellowcake uranium.
Iran’s Atomic Energy Organisation said there were no reported casualties and that there was no contamination risk.
Even so, Tehran signalled it may respond again.
Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, said on X: “Israel has hit 2 of Iran’s largest steel factories, a power plant and civilian nuclear sites among other infrastructure.
“Israel claims it acted in coordination with the US.
“Attack contradicts POTUS extended deadline for diplomacy. Iran will exact HEAVY price for Israeli crimes.”
Separately, Seyed Majid Moosavi of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a warning directed at people employed by companies with ties to the US and Israel.
“You tested us once before; the world has once again seen that you yourselves started playing with fire and attacking infrastructure,” the commander said on X.
“This time, the equation will no longer be ‘an eye for an eye’, just wait.”

The war has caused thousands of casualties and has heavily disrupted global energy supplies.
Costs have continued to climb amid instability around the Strait of Hormuz, the waterway linking the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman, which Iran has been blocking.
During a speech at the Future Investment Initiative Institute summit in Miami, President Donald Trump drew attention for referring to the route as the “Strait of Trump”.
Speaking of the war with Iran, Trump said: “We’re negotiating now, and it’d be great if we could do something, but they have to open it up. They have to open up the Strait of Trump — I mean, Hormuz. Excuse me, I’m so sorry, such a terrible mistake.”
The president added: “The fake news will say he accidentally said — there’s no accidents with me, not too many. If there were, we’d have a major story.”
