Iran has responded to the United States after President Donald Trump issued a warning regarding a nuclear deal earlier this week.
President Trump has recently directed multiple warnings towards Iran, prompting a firm response from the nation.
There is speculation that Trump may be considering new military actions against Iran, urging the country to swiftly come to an agreement on a nuclear deal.
During a speech in Iowa earlier this week, Trump remarked: “There is another beautiful armada floating beautifully to Iran right now, so we will see.
“I hope they make a deal, they should have made a deal the first time.”
The USS Abraham Lincoln and its accompanying warships arrived in the Middle East on Monday.
Trump also took to social media to emphasize the importance of Iran complying with American expectations.

He stated: “Hopefully Iran will quickly ‘Come to the Table’ and negotiate a fair and equitable deal – NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS – one that is good for all parties. Time is running out, it is truly of the essence!”
Despite the rising tensions, Iran has countered Trump’s comments and the threat of escalating military actions.
In response to a Truth Social post by Trump, Iran’s mission to the United Nations posted on its X page: “Last time the U.S. blundered into wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, it squandered over $7 trillion and lost more than 7,000 American lives.
“Iran stands ready for dialogue based on mutual respect and interests—BUT IF PUSHED, IT WILL DEFEND ITSELF AND RESPOND LIKE NEVER BEFORE!”

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has also indicated that Tehran is ready to ‘immediately and powerfully’ respond to any aggression, with ‘fingers on the trigger’.
In a social media post, he highlighted the lessons learned from its 12-Day War with Israel in June last year, promising a faster and more forceful response in the future.
He further emphasized Iran’s commitment to negotiating a deal, asserting that the nation does not aspire to possess nuclear weapons.
He stated: “At the same time, Iran has always welcomed a mutually beneficial, fair and equitable NUCLEAR DEAL—on equal footing, and free from coercion, threats, and intimidation—which ensures Iran’s rights to PEACEFUL nuclear technology, and guarantees NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS. Such weapons have no place in our security calculations and we have NEVER sought to acquire them.”
