Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes Go to Church Together After Stopping Their Tours

Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes are seen out and about. Following the cancellation of both men’s concerts to focus on their health, the singers were observed attending church together on Wednesday night.

On Wednesday night, Bieber and Mendes were photographed arriving at Churchome in Beverly Hills, California, with Bieber driving and Mendes riding shotgun.

They kept things casual for the outing, with Mendes wearing a neutral sweater and Bieber sporting a gray hoodie and bright pink beanie.

Mendes dated Bieber’s wife, Hailey Bieber, before they married, so the two have a history. They also went to the 2018 Met Gala together, only one month before the Biebs renewed their romance.

While the males were in church on Wednesday, Hailey Bieber and Kim Kardashian attended the Tiffany & Co. Lock Collection event at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles.

Following his Ramsay Hunt syndrome diagnosis in June, Justin Bieber canceled the remainder of his US gigs. While he returned to the stage for six gigs on the European portion of his tour, Bieber announced in September that he was canceling the remaining shows due to the “real toll” that performing placed on his body.

“The exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now,” he wrote in part. “So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be OK, but I need time to rest and get better.”

The rest of Bieber’s tour was officially postponed the following month.

Mendes, for his part, first stated in July that he was canceling several of his gigs, saying that he’d “reached a breaking point” and wanted to “take care of myself and my mental health.”

Mendes subsequently canceled the balance of his tour.

“After speaking more with my team and working with an incredible group of health professionals,” Mendes wrote in part, “it has become more clear that I need to take the time I’ve never taken personally, to ground myself and come back stronger.”

Mendes explained of canceling his tour, “I think I needed some time just to ground and spend some time with family and friends and gain some perspective of how beautiful it is what I get to do for a living.”
