Jake Paul Wins Unanimous Decision Over Mike Tyson

After much anticipation, the verdict in the showdown between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has been announced, with Jake Paul emerging victorious by unanimous decision.

The two fighters finally clashed at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, after their bout was initially postponed for four months.

The fight was originally scheduled for July but was delayed due to Tyson suffering from a flare-up of an ulcer.

However, the 58-year-old Tyson recovered in time and prepared himself to face the former YouTuber, who is 31 years younger than him.

The eight-round contest went the full distance, with scores of 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73 in favor of Paul.

While this was the first time the two met in the ring, the animosity between Tyson and Paul has been ongoing.

In a dramatic moment, Tyson slapped Paul during their final face-off before the match on November 14.

The incident happened after their weigh-in, with Paul weighing 227.2lb and Tyson at 228.4lb.

During the face-off, Tyson slapped Paul, prompting security to intervene.

Despite the slap, Paul claimed to have barely felt it.

“He’s an angry little elf,” Paul remarked. “Mike Tyson, I thought that was a cute slap, buddy, but tomorrow you’re getting knocked the f*** out. I’m f***ing him up.

“He hits like a b***, it’s personal now, he must die!” added Paul.

These were bold statements from Paul.

Despite the intensity of the fight, Tyson did not suffer any severe harm in what was his first professional match since 2005.

Tyson expressed confidence before the fight, suggesting Paul was in over his head.

“He can say whatever he wants. In the ring is where the party begins and he’s finally going to party with the big boys,” Tyson commented.

Before facing Tyson, Paul’s record stood at 10-1, with seven knockouts. His only loss was to Tommy Fury, Tyson Fury’s half-brother, earlier in 2023.

Paul remained resolute about defeating Tyson, saying: “I fear no man. I want him to be that old savage Mike.

“He says he’s going to kill me, is that what you’re going to do?… I want there to be no excuses when I knock him out.”
