Jason Biggs has opened up about an unexpected turn-on a few months after his split from Jenny Mollen.
The actor and Mollen ended their relationship in May after 18 years of marriage, according to a report from People. Even so, the two have appeared to remain on good terms, and were later seen walking arm-in-arm outside a restaurant in New York.
Since the breakup, both have spoken publicly about how life has changed. During a recent appearance on the Thanks Dad podcast with Ego Nwodim, Biggs made a candid admission about his taste in feet.
“I like feet, I appreciate feet,” the American Pie actor said on Thanks Dad podcast hosted by Ego Nwodim. “I think feet can be sexy. In the same way that I like good feet, [it can also be] like, ‘Oof.'”
He went on to explain that certain footwear is far less appealing to him, singling out thong sandals with heels as a look he does not enjoy.
Biggs also took aim at the open-toed shoes he regularly sees around New York.
“You need some close-toed shoes! It’s time for you to start rocking close-toed shoes.”
At one point in the interview, he showed his own feet and rated them as “not bad,” prompting Nwodim to offer her own verdict.
“They’re fine. I wouldn’t see that foot and go, ‘Put it away!'”
Mollen has also addressed the end of their marriage, describing the connection they still share in warm and practical terms.
Speaking on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast in June, she explained that the relationship has evolved rather than disappeared.
“We still love each other. It’s just not, I don’t know, it’s a different type of romance. It’s, like, your best friend.
“We live in two different places, but we’re still tethered. We have kids. We still talk 18 times a day about everyone’s schedule and after school and holidays.”
She added that, despite no longer being together romantically, much of their day-to-day bond feels unchanged.
“People will be like, ‘How does it feel?’ And I’m like, ‘I don’t know, the same?’
“We live in two different places, but we’re still tethered. We have kids. We still talk 18 times a day about everyone’s schedule and after school and holidays… So it isn’t a normal breakup where you’re like, ‘See ya!’ and then maybe we’ll bump into each other in 10 years and talk about it. It’s not like that.”
The former couple share two sons, Sid, 12, and Lazlo, eight.
Long before this latest podcast moment, Biggs became famous for playing Jim Levenstein in American Pie. He later added films such as Loser (2000), Boys and Girls (2000), and Saving Silverman (2001) to his resume.
On television, he was also widely recognised for playing Larry Bloom in Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black (2013).
The 48-year-old has since moved into directing as well, making his feature directorial debut with the 2025 project Untitled Home Invasion Romance. The darkly comedic thriller, which also stars Biggs in the lead role alongside Meaghan Rath, Anna Konkle, and Justin H. Min, premiered at film festivals in September 2025 and became available on digital platforms in January 2026. In the film, Biggs plays Kevin, an actor whose failing marriage leads him to stage a home invasion during a romantic getaway weekend—a plan that spirals into unexpected chaos.
Biggs has also spoken openly about addiction and recovery, saying he has been sober since 2017 after what he described as a major wake-up call. He later opened up in 2025 about the depths of his struggles during his youth, revealing on a podcast that he once dug through trash for cocaine while at the height of his fame. Despite those dark years, Biggs has maintained his recovery and has also focused on his health in recent years, losing significant weight after experiencing cholesterol issues.
The wider American Pie cast has taken very different paths over the years too.
Seann William Scott, who played Steve Stifler, stepped back from the spotlight in recent years but has remained active in the industry. Although he was paid just $8,000 (£6,000) for the first film, court filings later showed he earns around $110,000 a month on average.
That disclosure came during his 2024 divorce from Olivia Korenberg, whom he had been married to for four years. They share a daughter. Scott and Korenberg divorced in May 2024.
Scott has also spoken about why he chose to live more privately, while recently appearing in the ABC comedy series Shifting Gears, which premiered in 2025. He has also continued to work in television through projects like Welcome to Flatch on FOX.
Alyson Hannigan, remembered in the franchise as Michelle Flaherty, had already built a strong fanbase through Buffy the Vampire Slayer and later became even more widely known as Lily Aldrin in How I Met Your Mother.
In the years since, Hannigan has continued acting while also working as a voice performer and television host.
Now 52, she shares two children with her husband Alexis Denisof, and frequently posts DIY and upcycling content online.
Jennifer Coolidge saw both her profile and career surge after playing Stifler’s mom. She later became a familiar face in films including Legally Blonde (2001), and more recently found huge acclaim in HBO’s The White Lotus (2021).
That performance earned the 64-year-old a pair of Emmys, as well as a Critics Choice Award and a Golden Globe.
Eugene Levy, who played Jim’s dad Noah Levenstein, has continued to thrive as an actor, writer, and producer. One of his biggest later successes was Schitt’s Creek, the acclaimed sitcom he co-created with his son Dan Levy.
Levy, now 79, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2024. His latest work includes the Apple TV+ travel documentary series The Reluctant Traveler. Despite his long career and many acclaimed roles, Levy has noted that people still recognize him worldwide primarily for his role in American Pie.
Natasha Lyonne almost missed out on appearing in American Pie because she said she was morally opposed to it at first, but she has since gone on to major acclaim as an actor, writer, producer, and director.
The 47-year-old has become a standout figure in streaming television thanks to projects including Orange Is the New Black (2013), Russian Doll (2019), and Poker Face (2023).
More recently, she has turned toward directing an AI-assisted film called Uncanny Valley, and has also spoken honestly about her sobriety, including a relapse she revealed in January 2026.
