Jason Momoa Strips Down, Bares His Butt in Traditional Hawaiian Malo on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Jimmy Kimmel Live viewers received a treat on Wednesday night when Jason Momoa appeared as a guest. The 43-year-old Slumberland actor appeared on the show dressed in his Netflix film outfit, which included purple satin pajamas and a pink velvet cloak with sparkling decorations.

But Momoa quickly ditched the bright appearance in favor of baring some flesh. Momoa reveals in reference to a recent Instagram post where he’s fishing in a traditional Hawaiian malo, Momoa explains, “I’m doing a show. I’m a creator and writer and director and producer on this Apple series called Chief of War and it’s all 1780s, 1790s Hawaii. That’s what I wear every day. I was just getting ready for the role and I like to get into character and so I was tanning my white a**.”

Every day, I’m there. I always have it on.”

“Are you wearing this under your clothes right now?” Kimmel asks.

“Of course,” he replies.

Momoa then rises up and removes his clothing, going naked and exposing his buttocks.

He bends over to take his trousers off and put them back on, giving Kimmel a good look.

“Let me tell you, I never felt more like Danny DeVito than I do right now,” the comedian quips.

He talked about getting a pet pig while filming in Hawaii at the Slumberland premiere.

Momoa explained why he didn’t bring the adorable pig to the event “Oh, he’s in Hawaii! He’s a wild boar, so I couldn’t bring him with me. I think it wou.ld’ve been pretty gnarly though.”

Slumberland follows a little girl who discovers a hidden map to the Slumberland dream realm. She travels dreams and avoids nightmares with the assistance of an eccentric outlaw (Momoa), hoping to meet her late father again. The film will be released in cinemas on Friday.
