JD Vance has criticized the ‘incestuous’ nature of ‘America’s elites’ in light of the latest release of Epstein files, while asserting that Donald Trump is not implicated.
The Department of Justice released over 3 million files last week related to their investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. These files include several emails from notable figures like Bill Gates and Elon Musk, as well as compromising photographs of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
Though President Trump, like the individuals mentioned in the files, possesses both ‘wealth and power’, the Vice President maintains that Trump is distinct from that network.
In an interview with the Daily Mail on Tuesday, Feb. 3, Vance, 41, stated: “President Trump is very much outside of the social circle.”
“He knows a lot of these people. He certainly has similar wealth and power. But he never really was friendly with Epstein in a way that a lot of these other people were.”

“I think that it just shows there’s an incestuous nature to America’s elites, and it’s pretty gross. And, a lot of people, I think, it reflects very poorly on them,” he added.
Donald Trump has consistently distanced himself from accusations related to the pedophile financier and has always strongly denied any misconduct.
Trump initially played down his connection to Epstein but later acknowledged they were once friends, claiming the friendship ended in 2004, well before Epstein faced accusations and convictions for sex trafficking.
However, the President has appeared in several photographs and files released by the House Oversight Committee last December.
These include an image of Trump with a group of women whose faces are blurred and another photo showing the president’s face in cartoon form on a set of ‘Trump Condoms’ for sale.

Following the disclosure of those images, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson criticized the Democrats for what she termed as ‘cherry picking’ files with ‘random redactions to create a false narrative.’
“The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked and the Trump Administration has done more for Epstein’s victims than Democrats ever have by repeatedly calling for transparency, releasing thousands of pages of documents, and calling for further investigations into Epstein’s Democrat friends,” the spokesperson stated at the time. “It’s time for the media to stop regurgitating Democrat talking points and start asking Democrats why they wanted to hang around Epstein after he was convicted.”
