JD Vance Criticizes Kamala Harris Over Leaked Private Comments from Trump

In a recent interview, Vice President JD Vance expressed his opinions on Kamala Harris, coinciding with her revealing remarks about Trump. Vance’s comments were made during an appearance on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle with Laura Ingraham, where the discussion centered on Harris’ new memoir, 107 Days, which documents her 2024 presidential campaign experiences.

Ingraham highlighted a part of the memoir where Harris referred to Vance as “a juvenile and shapeshifter,” prompting Vance to share his perspective on Harris. Despite limited face-to-face interaction during the elections, both politicians occasionally referenced each other in public speeches.

Vance has consistently expressed doubts about Harris’s leadership capabilities, and in this interview, he expanded on his criticism. He stated, “She is now blaming the campaign, her loss, for the fact that it was short,” suggesting that the length of the campaign was not the issue. According to Vance, the problem was that the more people listened to Harris, the less they were convinced by her.

“When people actually listened to what she had to say, per polling, it went down and down and down,” Vance said, emphasizing that a longer campaign might have led to an even larger victory for Donald Trump, who won 312 electoral votes compared to Harris’s 226 in the 2024 election.

Vance argued that Harris’s lack of substance was evident to the public, noting, “The more people know about Kamala Harris, the more they realize there is no substance there.” He compared her unfavorably to former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, who he believed could articulate their viewpoints effectively.

He further criticized Harris’s communication skills, saying, “I listen to Kamala Harris for 90 seconds and I actually feel like I’ve gotten dumber in the process, and I have no idea what she actually believes.” Vance suggested that her inability to connect with her audience and articulate clear viewpoints was a significant issue.

These comments follow Harris’s own remarks about Trump in her book, where she recounted a conversation with him after an assassination attempt by Ryan Routh. Despite Trump’s public criticisms, he reportedly spoke positively of her in private, saying, “How do I say bad things about you now? I’m going to tone it down. I will. You’re going to see.”

Harris also claimed that Trump admitted his daughter Ivanka was a ‘big fan’ of hers, though she remained skeptical, describing him as “a con man” and asserting that he excels in manipulating situations, as reported by The Guardian.
